Rewriting YOUR story: Facing Fears

Hey Limitless Ladies!

Yesterday I was talking to a friend about the things I said I would do when I grew up as a child. By the time I was in my 20s, 30s and 40s I'd be wearing certain types of clothes, I'd be travelin' and just living my best adult life. I so wanted to grow up and get to those ages - fast!

I also remember fear and confusion. It's like that feeling of pure terror when you were a kid, facing a closed door when you hear a noise you could not place. You had no idea what awaited you on the other side – a robber, a monster under the bed, or something entirely different. Back then, just opening the door could feel like a monumental feat, especially when your siblings teased you endlessly because  you were afraid of the dark on the other side, or they magnified your fears by being afraid with you or  even when your parents keep telling you ' what you afraid of- gwan fo de ting' and you sometimes out of fear of punishment, walked through that door.

Now, flash forward to today. As strong, capable women, that feeling of trepidation might not come from a literal door. It may not come because of literally being afraid of the dark. But maybe it arises when you consider a new venture like finally getting fit, or maybe a trip to a solo destination, or even attempting a new language. Maybe it comes just by thinking how you need to walk into that workplace tomorrow morning and how your going to deal with these difficult people.

Here's the thing, Limitless Ladies: we can't truly discover who we are if we don't explore  and embrace what ignites our souls and push our boundaries. We can't know what we like, what we truly enjoy, until we push past our comfort zones and delve into new experiences.

Think about it: isn't that what the Bible tells us too? Genesis 1:28 instructs us to be fruitful and multiply, to REPLENISH THE EARTH. Nowhere does it say to stay stagnant, to remain unchanged. Growth is literally God's plan for us, it's our destiny!

So, how do we embrace this idea of growth? How do we become the limitless women we were meant to be?
By facing our fears and pushing beyond them. By becoming warriors within ourselves, rising above the anxieties that hold us back.

Do an experiment with me: Let's embrace the unknown with open arms, knowing that on the other side lies the potential for incredible self-discovery.
Are you with me? ( Imma assume I heard you scream ' YES!')
Imagine the lightbulb moment that's ahead when you finally realize what God truly intended for your life.

There's a certain flow that comes with pushing boundaries. The universe conspires in your favor as you step outside your comfort zone. New opportunities unfold, passions ignite, and a sense of purpose washes over you. It's like coming home to yourself, a homecoming you never knew you craved.
Are you ready to shed your limitations, Limitless Ladies?

Here's your call to action:

• Choose one area of your life where you feel stuck. Is it your health and wellness? Your travel bucket list? Your personal development? Your financial goals? Your family? Whatever it is, write it down. Just KNOWING and acknowledging it is half the battle won already.

• Set a small, achievable goal to push your boundaries in that area. Maybe it's trying a new exercise class( you can join mine. We' d talk about that in another post), booking a solo weekend getaway, enrolling in a language learning app, or watching a budgeting YouTube video and implementing it

Take that first step, my Limitless Lady! Embrace the fear, the excitement, and the unknown. Remember, growth is rarely comfortable, but the rewards are limitless and it can be one heck of an exhilarating experience to find YOU!

We are here to discover who we were truly meant to be, together right? So share your experiences, your fears, and your triumphs in the comments below. We're all on this limitless journey together!

And send this to another limitless lady you know.
