Seizing the Day: A Limitless Lady's Journey

Feeling stuck in a rut? Tired of letting your circumstances dictate your life? It's time to seize the day and take control of your destiny. In this blog post, we'll explore the power of a positive mindset and the importance of overcoming challenges to achieve your goals.

This morning, I woke up feeling like a walking zombie. For the past week my throat was a sandpaper storm, and my voice was a mere whisper. The last thing I wanted to do was leave the comfort of my bed, even to attend church.

But as I lay there, half-asleep and half-awake, something peculiar happened. In a moment of coughing clarity, I realized that I had already decided not to go. My subconscious had apparently weighed the pros and cons of attending church compared to getting a few extra hours of sleep, while I was blissfully unaware, and had concluded that staying in bed and ditching the commute, was the superior option.

Now, I'm not one to let a little thing like a sore throat dictate my life. So, realizing that I had subconsciously and not consciously decided my potential fate. I rebelled against it, forcing myself out of bed and started getting ready. As it was casual Sunday at my church , I pulled out a red jeans and a cute sweater dress. My family was undoubtedly confused. After all, in my subconscious state, I had proudly declared that I was not going to church today. Yup, they were quite confused.

But I had a plan. I was going to seize the day, no matter what. No subconscience was going to dictate my life. Not as long as I was aware if it. No mam! After all, it was God who gave me the day to begin with right?

The Power of a Positive Mindset

You see, sometimes we need a wake-up call to remind us that life is too short to waste. We get caught up in our circumstances, our fears, and our excuses, and we end up feeling stuck. But the truth is, we have the power to change our mindset and take control of our lives.

A clear and positive mindset is key to unlocking your full potential. When you believe in yourself, your abilities, and the conscious moves you are about to make, you're more likely to step out boldly, overcome obstacles, and achieve your dreams. Even when faced with adversity, a clear minded positive outlook will help you find the strength to push.

I see it like being on the edge of a cliff (in this case, like me sitting at the edge of my bed for a solid two minutes, back and forthing with this decision). You can choose to stay there, paralyzed by fear of leaving comfort behind for a while, crippled by indecision, or you can take a leap of faith and at least get out of the house ( off the edge of the cliff) and start walking in the right direction. Whenever you are ready to jump ( move), things start moving with and for you.

The choice is yours.

So, I took a deep breath and stepped out into the pouring rain. Yeah, it wasn't exactly the sunny day I was hoping for, but it didn't matter. I was moving forward, one step at a time.

And let me tell you, it felt good. It felt liberating to do me against my own internal battles.  I could even say it felt a little...powerful. And on top of that, church was AWESOME!

So, what are you waiting for? Get out of bed, step off the edge, and start seizing your day. Because life is too short to spend it sleeping.

With showers of love,

Lady Ray~
