Breaking Free from Self-Sabotage: Embracing Your Inner Strength

These last couple weeks have been eye opening…to say the least. Have you ever felt like you're constantly battling your own self? I know I’m not alone on this: A tug-of-war between who you are , who you could be , and who you're expected to be ?   This internal conflict, the precursors for self-sabotage, can derail even the most ambitious plans. It's a battleground where our weaknesses and desires clash, our thoughts diverge to possible multiple realities and our emotions run a marathon on a loop. All shaping our destinies for better or for worse.   The Role of Weaknesses Our weaknesses are often seen as stumbling blocks, but I’ve always had a sneaking suspicion they could become our tools- powerful catalysts for growth. The pivotal switch is actually knowing what they are. Getting to know yourself is the most impactful way to sculpt you. Imagine a sculptor chiseling away at a block of marble. There are imperfections in the stone however these imperfections aren’t o...

Behind the Smile: Navigating Life's Storms

“ Sometimes a smile is just a mask. An antidote to the ragings within your soul of life fighting against your purpose. Against you carving your name in the rock of legacy. Against creating the path in reality that has always existed in your mind. So you smile to not be beaten. You smile so the world knows it has not won. You smile to give a little sunlight to your emotions. Just enough sunlight to not be succumbed by the darkness forcing itself in.” - Lady Ray   As a Limitless Lady, we've all experienced the highs and lows of life's journey. The pursuit of our dreams can be met with serious resistance, setbacks, and even outright hostility. This is part of the reas...

If you have been walking on eggshells in a relationship, afraid to express your true self for fear of judgment or rejection then this blog is for you. Perhaps, just perhaps, you’ve found yourself in a situation where someone else’s expectations have made you feel like you had to hide parts of yourself to maintain their approval? These experiences are too common, and often so quiet; but this doesn't have to be your reality. In today’s world, authenticity and self-expression are celebrated, but it’s more important than ever to cultivate relationships based on understanding, acceptance, respect, and open communication. As the quote from my friend Brennal Maloney beautifully states, “Communication isn’t the critical area for healthy relationships. It’s the ability to accept and respect what is said that breeds failure.” Or success- if I may add. In my last blog post, I hope we’ve embraced finding the REAL causes of why we do what we do. Now this is about being on the receiving end...

Aligning Your Reasoning: Why We Do What We Do

Ever found yourself doing something and then struggling to answer the question’ why on earth did I just do that? Or why did I really say that? Even deeper yet, what exactly is this weird feeling am I feeling right now because of SOMETHING that was triggered?   Maybe you said you were going to the gym because you wanted to get fit, but deep down, you were just trying to avoid work or just wanted to look like a cute fitness enthusiast in the eyes of onlookers. Or perhaps you claimed you bought that new dress because it was on sale, but really, you wanted to feel more confident and lift your low spirits. Sometimes there’s this disconnect between our actions and our reasons   and us really zoning in on what these true reasons are but your not alone, cause it actually is a crazy common human experience. It's like saying you're only going to the bar or restaurant ( liming) because you want to see your friends, but we all know the real reason is to drink away your sorrows. It isn...
